Not the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen .. but the last one looking over toward The Chevin tonight before clocks change to GMT.

Apparently this whole clock change thing is linked to all sorts of undesirable symptoms (depression etc) because it messes our body-clocks up so much ...and in the old old old days, folks used to have 2 sleeps and not just 1 long one anyway. Quite like that idea. Don't know how true that is and I am too depressed to be bothered researching it now anyway !! 😆

Nettle, chocolate-mint, an over-ripe banana that needed using, a dash of nutmeg and whatever milk there is most of in my fridge (oat, goat, cow, coconut .. ideally anything whole and not pasteurised) and bish bash bosh .. super healthy super food smoothie ...
Save some to pour into ice cube trays and freeze and use it as a sort of sorbet thing too!

Personally I don't make any new year resolutions on 1st Jan .. I doodle a bit and blue sky ideas, goals, targets .. but only as we get closer to Spring and seed-planting time in the garden (now!) do I really start to get that urge to get my creativity & imagination flowing and bounce into action! How bout you?

I have a system I use to help me get clarity, focus attention, set mini targets that make whopping changes over a year, bust blocks, and stay motivated in aligning real life with whats most important now. Neolithic age temple complex of Ħaġar Qim & Mnajdra on SE coast of Malta .. older than StoneHenge and the Pyramids, with the Mnajdra temple famous for its astrological connection: altar illuminated by light beam on the 2 equinoxes and 2 solstices of the year.
Built from this honey coloured limestone, the temples feature some perfectly preserved table altars, tree of life and other nature depictions, and a mindboggling tall pillar estimated to weigh around 20 tons.
Seems the builders weren't as "primitive" as originally thought!

Was a lovely experience teaching the Quantum-Touch healing workshop from my own therapy room space in Belper for the first time: instead of hiring other venues in the town to use. Just felt .. right!
This one was a bit different as it was 50% in-person training and then 50% online .. so students got opportunity to practise their new healing skills between times. I think I'll use that training format again! It worjed well. 😊😍😎

Spring has arrived, bringing it with the Hay Fever Season! 🤧 So whilst the early blossoms are very VERY beautiful indeed, if your eyes are all red, watery and runny, your nose is all a-drip, and your throat feels like the bottom of a budgerigar's cage, the daily Pollen Count reading can become a thing of vital importance over the next 7-8 months.

Enjoyed a lovely calmful, peaceful, thought-inspiring and uplifting day of Buddha wisdom this weekend at Tara Centre .. .meditation, lovely food, lovely kind people and just a great space to hang out with friends when you're ready for a bit of "spiritual food". Am all flup now 😍🙏💕

With the last of the grapes and toms dangling on their vines, the last of the slightly scabby apples this year being left on the tree for the dickbods, the last of the wasps maybe, last of the fresh chives, creeping thyme ... and so on. Just sitting. Having a mindful mo. With the last of the grapes and toms dangling on their vines, the last of the slightly scabby apples this year being left on the tree for the dickbods, the last of the wasps maybe, last of the fresh chives, creeping thyme ... and so on. All things temporary. All back next year. Time to get back to my desk and do some work..!

Time to stop procrastinating with the tomatoes!
Fortunately, I really like tomato soup, tomato relish, green tomato chutney, passata sun(oven)-dried tomatoes .. have I missed anything, lads n lasses and does coconut milk work in tomato soup to make it creamier??

Got the keys last week to my new therapy room in #Belper.
Still at Acorn Natural Health in Heanor on Fridays, where I love being part of a high vibe team! And I still have a mobile therapy service for my lovely ladies who otherwise might struggle with stairs to visit my room... but its quite fun to have an extra base so close to home too .. and with all that free parking up at the Coppice so close!!

😱 I am aghast at the TITLE of my Book for October alone ...even before I really digest the book content!! 🤪🧐🙃I mean .. Have these 2 authors never been CONSTIPATED?!!! 🤣

Seriously tho, as a "Quantum-touch" instructor, its a great read. Just starting chapter 2 "Being in two places at once". I feel like that most days so I think many of us can relate!!
